Dubai real estate market is experiencing a steady rise to the top, with 2022 alone recording a staggering 122,658 transactions worth AED 528 billion, according to the real estate transaction calculator on the official Dubai Land Department (DLD) website.
 
In comparison to 2021, Dubai has seen an increased 44.7% growth in the number of transactions, with a 76.5% increase in terms of value. The promising numbers indicate the strong and steady real estate market in Dubai, serving as a key driver for the further growth of various sectors and economic activities within the UAE.
 

Ready & Off-Plan Sales

The most recorded transactions for ready and off-plan first sales and resales in 2022 was both in Business Bay with 4,894 resale transactions worth AED 7.2 billion and 3,125 sales transactions worth AED 5.6 billion. The resale activity was trailed by Burj Khalifa with 3,974 transactions worth AED 11.7 billion (which also happened to be the highest value in transactions in 2022), followed by Jumeirah Village Circle with 3,404 transactions worth AED 2.27 billion.
 
The first sales activity also highlighted Jumeirah Village Circle in second place, with 2,012 transactions worth AED 1.4 billion, followed by Sobha Hartland with 1,547 transactions worth AED 2.47 billion in third place.
