The Saudi Arabia pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai was endowed with the 'Best Pavilion' award, as well as two honorary awards by EXHIBITOR magazine, which grants awards for each edition of the world-famous exhibition.
Winning the award in the 'Large Suites' category, the glorious Saudi Arabia pavilion also received two honorary awards for best exterior design and best display.
UAE news agency, Khaleej Times, reported that the pavilion had earlier won the Platinum Certificate in LEED by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), as well as three Guinness World Records for the largest interactive light floor, the longest interactive water curtain, and the largest interactive digital screen mirror.
"EXHIBITOR magazine is the main evaluator of Expo world fairs and has organized the competition for more than 30 years. The magazine honors the best-designed exhibitions through the contest, based on the assessment of an international committee comprising design, marketing, and events experts."
Expo 2020 Dubai has officially surpassed the milestone of 20 million visitors, with only 10 days left before the exhibition in Dubai is wrapped up forever and developments begin on transitioning the site into a sustainable and smart residential community project called District 2020.
The latest figures depict that 70% of the visitors are UAE residents. The Saudi pavilion alone has received over four million visitors.
